MILE SQUARE GOLF COURSE CELEBRATES ITS 50th ANNIVERSARY
MILE SQUARE Golf Course Kicks-Off a Five Day Celebration in Honor of their
50th Year in the Fountain Valley Community
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA. – MILE SQUARE Golf Course, a cornerstone of the Fountain Valley community for the past 50-years, known for its signature David Rainville designed golf courses, incomparable putting greens, first class banquet rooms, and unforgettable weddings, proudly announced today that the facility has reached its 50th year in business. This incredible milestone will be celebrated daily next week with a “50” inspired promotion at the MILE SQUARE Golf Course, located at 10401 Warner Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA, from Monday, July 1st through Friday, July 5th.
Festivities will kick-off with reduced green fees, and free golf caps. On Monday, July 1st, and on Tuesday, July 2nd, golfers can play either the Players Golf Course, or the Classic Golf Course for only $50, which includes green fees, a golf cart, and a free 50th Anniversary commemorative golf cap.
“It has been an honor serving Southern California for 50-years. We have seen generations grow up on this special facility, and I can say personally, ‘It has been very fulfilling.’ This ‘50’ inspired promotion is fun, and a play on the anniversary, but it is also a small way of giving back,” said Scott Chaffin, General Manager at MILE SQUARE Golf Course.

MILE SQUARE Golf Course will be rolling costs back 50-years to 1969 when the club first opened. On Wednesday, July 3rd, hot dogs will be sold for .50-cents at the clubhouse snack bar. Thursday, July 4th, golfers can hit golf balls with .50-cent tokens, and on Friday, July 5th, ALL sodas will be greatly reduced, not to the same costs as in 1969, you got it, they will only cost .50-cents. Throughout the five day celebration, inside the clubhouse, at the bar, chips and salsa will be sold again for - .50cents.
