The Golf Elevator…
Keeping your putter high and dry…and clean!

Every now and then, we get a new invention for the golfer and most of the time we’ll take a pass. But, when the Golf Elevator came to our attention, we said, “OK, let’s take a look and see if this is something the average golfer can use.”
Michael A. Roy
Inventor of the Golf Elevator
Mike Roy has a passion for solving problems. He is a natural inventor. He stated, “Wherever there’s a problem, there’s an opportunity.”

The Golf Elevator is not his first creative invention. “My first successful invention was for 3M, when I devised a new hot glue adhesive applicator in 1984. Soon after, I created an automated epoxy applicator for them. My first US patent was issued in 1998 for a keel protector for fiberglass boats. My next invention in 2003, was DIY ProCrown—a crown molding system designed to make DIY installation easy with professional-looking results. In 2015, I created a waterproof liner for ski boots called Boot Ducks. And this year, I got my US patent for the Golf Elevator golf club prop,” he told us.

The idea for the Golf Elevator came when he and his golf buddies were playing the Southampton Country Club on a cold spring morning in western Massachusetts. It’s mid-April and the temp is around 40 degrees. At the 1st green with a wedge and putter and after chipping on, we grab our putters off the wet turf to putt. Yep, the grips were dripping wet with dew. It is wet and cold! So how can you focus on your putt with all that going on? Needless to say they missed their putts…so, mister problem solver…what next?

The solution to this wet grip problem must be out there—and if not, I was absolutely compelled to make it. After two days of obsessing over it, I had my first prototype: a piece of rod attached to a series of coat buttons hand crafted into a crude device, but it worked. Over the next 18 months I made more than a dozen design improvements. Working with a nearby machine shop, we made many prototypes, tested, redesigned and retested until it was ready for production. My first production run of 1,000 units lead to another six waves of redesign and refinement. Finally, as of November of last year, the Golf Elevator is now “Bulletproof”.

Mike told us he has been working on developing the Golf Elevator for the better part of two years testing and design modifications to come up with a "Bullet Proof ' golf accessory. He also wanted something that would last a lifetime. He wanted something that you wouldn’t forget and ready to use when you need it.  OK, so what is the Golf Elevator?

Because it attaches to the top of your grip, there’s nothing extra you have to carry. You can't forget to bring it, you can’t lose it, and it’s right where you need it every time.

The Golf Elevator is like a kick stand on a bicycle…it keeps your putter handle from getting wet, dirty and off the ground so you don’t have to bend over to strain your back. I’d buy it just for that last reason!

The new Golf Elevator met all of Mike initial 3 must haves and beyond.
  • It elevates your grip 6 inches up off the ground, so it works in deep roughs or short, around bunkers, and even in the woods. Virtually wherever and whenever you need it.
  • Easily attaches to the top of any grip in seconds, easy to use, and there's no need to carry anything extra in your pockets or hands.
  • What’s more, you can't lose it, can't forget it, and it makes your club stand out so you don’t forget it and leave it behind.
  • Saves back pain...no more bending down to lay your club down or pick it up after a shot. Just lower and lift it with your other club.
  • Precision machined solid Stainless Steel, built to last a lifetime. Looks, feels and works like a high quality golf product should.
  • Can be remounted if you re-grip or buy a new club.
  • Built-in Magnetic Ball Marker can be personalized with custom logos.
“Wet grips = Missed chips and putts”
“Dry grips = Better chips, putts, and scores.”

Mike made this statement: “As a morning golfer, I just grew tired of having to put up with the annoyance of a distracting wet grip when chipping and putting. Any average golfer who rides a cart experiences the same issues from time to time and if you play in the morning the grass is always wet.”

The Golf Elevator is unique, in the respect that it works in tall grass or short, roughs, woods, and around the bunkers.
The Golf Elevator is unique, in the respect that it works in tall grass or short, roughs, woods, and around the bunkers. Because it attaches to the top of your grip, there’s nothing extra you have to carry. You can't forget to bring it, you can’t lose it, and it’s right where you need it every time. And, the Golf Elevator PLUS has a built-in magnetic ball marker on the cap that is small like the pros use. If you re-grip or get a new club, just unscrew it from the old and mount it on the new.

At GoGolfandTravel.com, we’ve tried it and think the golfer will be impressed with the quality, precision, durability and value. Golf Elevator comes in two models, the PLUS with the Ball Marker, and the PAR which looks and works just like the PLUS but with a fixed logo on top instead of the removable ball marker.

The pricing for this latest invention is the PLUS version retails for $24.95 and the PAR retails for $21.95. However, if you mention GoGolfanddTravel.com you’ll receive a discount and can purchase the PLUS for just under $20 and the PAR just under $18.
