PINE MOUNTAIN, GA  – Step away from the computer, television and school books, and activate your adrenaline at Callaway Gardens as you leap, climb, swing and zip your way through the trees on Callaway Gardens TreeTop Adventure, the Gardens’ newest attraction.

Make your way through the trees on a network of 24 aerial challenges and zip-lines that are deftly woven into the natural woodlands behind the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center, adjacent to the beautiful 175-acre Mountain Creek Lake.

Chart your own course for adventure, from soaring zip-line dashes to swinging bridges that take you over logs, across ropes, onto nets, suspended disks and more. It’s the perfect escape for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike, offering up breathtaking sights and heart-pumping flights that will have you coming back again and again.

TreeTop Adventure opens Saturday, May 14, 2011. Be among the first to experience the high-flying magic. Just strap into a harness, train with our staff and off you go.

“TreeTop Adventure is just the exciting addition we need to create something for everyone at Callaway Gardens,” said Patricia Collins, Callaway Gardens’ director of gardens. Additionally, this Summer Callaway Gardens is adding Light Striker Laser Tag; Aqua Island; Blaster Boats; and Fabulous Fridays featuring free admission** beginning at 4 p.m. to the new Callaway Gardens Farmers Market, live music and the FSU Flying High Circus.
